SyracuseCoE has awarded seven companies with up to $3,000 to hire interns for the summer of 2023. The SyracuseCoE Industry Collaboration Summer Internship Program supports meaningful paid internships for Partner Program companies to host a student pursuing a degree in science, engineering, or architecture. This opportunity allows the student to gain crucial knowledge, develop valuable industry relationships, and refine their technical skills by engaging in hands-on work at SyracuseCoE Partner firms related to SyracuseCoE focus areas: indoor environmental quality (IEQ), high performance/green building, clean and renewable energy, and water resources. The goals of the program include fostering valuable relationships between students and local firms, increasing post-graduation student retention in Central New York.
To qualify, firms must be current Partners. The program is supported by annual Partner fees. Interns will present a poster of their project at the 2023 SyracuseCoE Innovation Showcase in August.
