Faculty Fellows Program

As part of its Faculty Fellows Program, SyracuseCoE offers support to faculty researchers at Syracuse University, SUNY-ESF, and other universities in SyracuseCoE’s core focus areas: clean and renewable energy, indoor environmental quality, and water resources. Visit the Faculty Fellows page to learn more about the faculty that has been closely engaged with SyracuseCoE and the projects they are working on.

Innovation Fund

SyracuseCoE invites proposals from current Partners for up to $10,000. The Innovation Fund is funded by SyracuseCoE Partner Program and is designed to support Partners’ efforts to overcome barriers to the commercialization of potentially transformative innovations. Projects must be aligned with commercialization of innovative products/technologies and focused on one or more of SyracuseCoE’s three core areas; indoor environmental quality and building energy efficiency, clean and renewable energy, and water resources. Visit the Innovation Fund project page to learn about past, present and future rounds of the Innovation Fund.

Summer Industry Collaboration Internships

The SyracuseCoE Summer Industry Collaboration Internship program supports paid internship opportunities for SyracuseCoE Partner Program companies to host a student engaged in work related to indoor environmental quality (IEQ), clean and renewable energy, including high performance/green building, and water resources. In addition to increasing the technical skills of area students pursuing degrees in science, engineering, and architecture, program goals include increased post-graduation student retention in the Central Upstate region and the establishment of valuable relationships between college students and local firms. To date, more than 30 companies and 90 students have participated in this program, which will provide up to $3,000 toward an intern’s wages. Visit the Summer Industry Collaboration Internship page to learn more.
