The Syracuse Center of Excellence in Environmental and Energy Systems (SyracuseCoE) is excited to announce an expansion of our Partner Program: student entrepreneurs are now welcome to join our network of innovators.
The SyracuseCoE Partner Program connects established companies, startups, and community-based organizations who are working to advance indoor environmental quality, energy efficiency in buildings, clean and renewable energy, and water resources. We are pleased to extend these resources and connections to student entrepreneurs at Syracuse University and SyracuseCoE’s partner institutions, SUNY-ESF and SUNY Upstate Medical University.

We welcome them to the program!”
Partner Spotlight: Revamped
SyracuseCoE’s first Student Entrepreneur Partner is Revamped, a sustainability-focused enterprise created by Ava Lubkemann. A junior studying environmental engineering, Lubkemann retrofitted a minibus to serve as a mobile thrift store and donation hub. Revamped keeps clothing and other textiles out of the waste stream, while eliminating the logistical barriers of traditional donation systems. Plus, Lubkemann’s Revamped Research Initiative maps and analyzes textile waste distribution across a variety of economic landscapes.
