Four students from the College of Engineering and Computer Science (ECS) at Syracuse University were recognized at the New York State Green Building Conference, held in Syracuse on March 27 and 28.
ECS students Marc Amato, Gargi De, Xin Guo, and Andrew Moreno won first place in their respective categories at the poster competition, along with Jeremy Grovanz, a student at the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY ESF).
The NYS Green Building Conference, hosted by SUNY ESF, offers a poster competition for students to showcase their research, innovative designs, and sustainable solutions to industry professionals and academics.
The competition winners are:
- Graduate Design Category: Gargi De, SU, “Mycelium-Coir-Based Bio-Composite Materials for Sustainable Building Envelope” (with Professor Zhao Qin)
