Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) is changing the paradigm for mass construction materials. To date, the development of CLT production systems has been based on locally available timber for manufacture in Europe and North America. This research will test yet unstudied wood species from the Southern Hemispere to better support adoption of this system in both developing and developed countries.
