Presenter Moamer Hasanovic will introduce Q-SUCCEED-CNY (Quantum and Semiconductor Upskilling for Career Change through Experiential Education Deployment in Central New York), an NSF-funded initiative designed to help adult learners, career changers, and veterans explore opportunities in these high-demand fields through hands-on workshops, immersive bootcamps, and direct industry engagement—no prior technical background required.

About the Speaker:

Dr. Moamer (Mo) Hasanovic is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Syracuse University, where he serves as Principal Investigator on multiple NSF-funded workforce development initiatives. As PI of EdQuantum, he developed a nationally recognized quantum technologies curriculum that has been piloted at eight community colleges across the United States, reaching over 300 adult learners and resulting in multiple peer-reviewed publications and conference workshops.

Dr. Hasanovic's research expertise spans RF engineering, semiconductor manufacturing education, and quantum optics. He leads Q-SUCCEED-CNY, an innovative program designed to introduce adult learners, career changers, and veterans to career opportunities in semiconductors and quantum technologies through experiential learning. His work bridges cutting-edge research with practical workforce development, supporting Central New York's emergence as a leading hub for advanced semiconductor manufacturing and quantum-enabled technologies.
